The day begins with an intensive flight and safety briefing from your ex-military instructor before you get kitted out in a Top Gun-style flight suit and parachute. It’s then time to take to the air for a 40 minute flight with your instructor in an Extra 300, a high-performance lightweight aircraft which is one of the premier aerobatic planes in the world. And you'll soon find out why as you experience an airborne tactic demonstration and formation manoeuvres, accompanied by another Extra 300. Then you take the stick - your chance to try out some manoeuvres yourself and then tail-chase the other plane. Make like a Maverick before you land ready for a full debrief and presentation of certificates.

To win this amazing prize you need to prove that you are indeed the best of the best by taking control of the Vista virtual Harrier and flying as fast and as far as you can.

How to enter
Fly further than your competitors in an area littered with Zeppelin like balloons and you'll win the opportunity to be barrel rolling, corkscrewing and looping the loop with the best pilots in the country.

Fly as far as you can before your time or fuel run out and you could win. The person ranked as 'Marshal of the Royal Air Force' on the closing date of 5pm on 30th November 2008 on our leaderboards will be awarded the prize.

How to play
The Vista game is controlled entirely through use of the mouse, left clicking to both take off and power your engines. Be careful though, if you don’t boost at the right time you will crash and burn. Collect the power ups as you go along to increase your fuel and speed which will help to maximise the distance you can travel.
