Even more new launches at LIVE06

Aug 16 2006

Reading, UK

LIVE06 gives you the opportunity to keep up to date with the newest launches from the most prominent manufacturers in electronic security. Take the opportunity to talk with the experts about what’s new on the market, and how it can help solve your particular application.

More information on what is being launched at LIVE06 can be found at norbainlive.com, but here is a small taster of the breadth new products you can expect to see:

The new Time and Attendance module from ACT allows employees to use one card for clocking in and out as well as facilitating access control within their working environment. In addition to this, the software offers advanced management tools in the calculation of attendance reports.

ADPRO will be exhibiting the newly launched ADPRO FastTx product, which will be supported by the enhanced Central Station Software Package – Video Central – which has a range of new features, including a Reporting Module offering automated access to data, improving the efficiency of Central Stations using Video Central.

American Dynamics will be showing Intellex® v4.0, the latest version of its industry-leading digital video management software. Users can now view live video from 64 cameras simultaneously with Network Client v4.0, remote management software included with Intellex, while streamlining their security operations with the powerful new Intellex v4.0 feature set.

Bosch Security Systems has launched the Abacus Evolution, an innovative intruder alarm panel range comprising two models designed for Grade 2 and Grade 3 residential and commercial applications that removes the burden of EN compliance and delivers further significant benefits to installers and end-users alike.

The DMS 240 from Dallmeier Electronic is a real-time recorder that utilises the latest H.264 compression standard and offers audio on all channels and at all frame rates. Additionally it has Hybrid functionality as an option, allowing both IP cameras and standard camera inputs to be recorded and viewed.

Extreme CCTV has announced a new range of Integrated Day-Night (IDN™) high-impact dome cameras. The new varifocal, auto-iris EX40MNX features innovative Omega LED geometry, precision engineered to maximise Infra-Red output whilst minimising internal dome reflection. Also incorporating an optical lens shield, the EX40MNX totally eliminates the "halo" effect for superior night time surveillance.

Optex will be showcasing REDWAVE, a new external detector that, in addition to using passive infrared (PIR) and microwave technology also has Adjustable Microwave Range Limiter (AMRL) technology. This allows users to adjust the detection distance, while a Dual Quad Zone Logic (DQZL) PIR uses two PIR detectors to increase detection density and eliminate undetectable areas.

The PMCD750 50-inch display from Pelco, with single chip DLPT (Digital Light Processing) technology, provides 100,000 hours of high quality images with outstanding color performance and brightness. Whether implemented as a stand-alone display, an alternative to conventional CRTs, or stacked to create a state-of-the-art video wall, the possibilities are virtually limitless.

Visitors will be able to see the latest version of the TDSi PC software, available free of charge with every MicroGarde® controller. Amongst the many additions to the software, an automatic fire door release feature has been included. This allows only selected doors on a fire escape route to be released when a selected input from a Fire Panel becomes active.
