Now available through Norbain, American Dynamics® Intellex® Digital Video Management System (DVMS) provides video analytics using robust behaviour tracking technology for real-time, automated video surveillance for demanding indoor and outdoor environments.
Intellex is an intelligent DVMS that combines multiplexing, alarm/event detection, video, audio, text recording and much more. Through its Network Client graphical interface, users can remotely monitor and manage live or recorded video from any number of Intellex systems on the network.
This advanced video content analysis system detects and tracks objects in real time, allowing the user to select from a rich set of detectable behaviours to alert upon. The system copes with diverse scenarios and environmental disturbances to provide high probability of detection at an extremely low false alarm rate.
Up to eight concurrent video streams from the Intellex family of digital or network video recorders are processed using this robust video analytics technology. Live video is received over IP and alarms are communicated back to Intellex.
The American Dynamics video analytics solution uses the Network Client Snap-in Manager interface to process concurrent Intellex video streams and provide the user with an added layer of intelligence to remotely identify, detect and track behaviours or threats in real time, and allowing greater user flexibility.
“Anything that will assist CCTV users in extracting relevant and important information quickly, easily and reliably has to be an asset,” says Frank Glynn, Norbain’s product support manager for American Dynamics. “The American Dynamics Analytic Software meets all of these criteria and will help new and existing Intellex users protect their property.”
