Paul Blake joins board of Norbain SD as IT Director

Norbain SD announced today the appointment of Paul Blake to the board of Norbain SD Limited as IT Director with immediate effect.
Managing Director, Dermot Grace commented: "This appointment provides Board level recognition of the central importance of IT in the continuing success and development of Norbain. Norbain’s success reflects our ability to understand constantly our customer’s changing needs and priorities. The continued development and improvement of our internal IT infrastructure along with the identification of new technological advances will ensure the delivery of the highest performance and service to our customers."
For the past four years, Paul Blake has led the IT team at Norbain charged with ensuring that the company’s systems sustain the business and facilitate growth, and help equip members of staff with new tools that can aid personal performance and productivity. Recent and current developments include the implementation of a new ERP system, an overhaul of the company’s complete network infrastructure and communications network, the adoption of IP telephony, the introduction of business performance management tools and the exploitation of SMS messaging for statistical reporting and internal communications.
