Norbain stocks Videx Door Entry Products

Norbain SD Limited, Europe’s leading distributor of electronic security solutions, is now stocking the market-leading Videx range of video and audio door entry products. The range includes phone, code, proximity, video and vandal resistant packaged solutions including the very popular V2200 and SP380 door entry solutions. "UK customers will greatly welcome the opportunity to purchase one of the market’s leading brands from the industry’s leading distributor."
The inclusion of the Videx range of door entry products in the Norbain portfolio is expected to encourage Norbain’s existing customers to source their Videx requirements from Norbain. "This will definitely encourage one stop shopping," says Anne Bowden. "People prefer to get everything from the same company as it simplifies purchasing and logistics. But it will also encourage access control specialists to consider Norbain for the first time. Given the strength of Norbain’s distribution system and our reputation for customer service and technical support we anticipate a significant growth in our access control business as a result of this agreement."
Two products that feature prominently in the Videx range are the VX2200 and SP380 door entry systems. The VX2200 vandal resistant solution is noted for being easy to install and offers the benefit that existing VX2200 audio systems can be upgraded to video without re-wiring. The SP380 telephone interface module (previously known as the SP280) enables a door entry phone to call a standard BT handset and can also be diverted to another mobile or land line. This improves security and convenience for the end user as it guarantees that the door is always answered and visitors can be let in remotely if required.
