Spring 05 Norbain catalogues now available

May 9 2005

Norbain SD, the UK’s largest distributor of electronic security solutions, has published the latest editions of its bi-annual catalogues: The Definitive Guides to CCTV and Access Control. "With four new brands, numerous new product lines and a revised layout to reflect latest trends, our new catalogues are testament to the dynamism of the industry and the vitality of Norbain", says Dermot Grace, Norbain SD’s Managing Director.

Typifying such dynamism, we see Verint and Neurodynamics making their first appearance in a Norbain catalogue, both boldly illustrating the increasing sophistication of the security industry. Other new products also featured for the first time include the Vi Series of Hard Disk Recorders from Videoswitch, Dalmeier’s DVS6000 HDR, and, Mitsubishi’s DLX-TL5000 & 400 series HDRs.

Newly featured cameras include Baxall’s Hyper-D, Dennard’s new 2040 internal fully functional dome and the new Dennard 1000 Series vandal resistant dome with its unique camera adjustment feature which eliminates the need to open the dome once installed. Pelco’s range of fibre optic products also features in the new catalogue.

Changes to the structure of the catalogue include a new section for Dome Systems, previously listed under Cameras and new IP Networking section within Digital Recording.

In the Access Control catalogue (a summarised version of which is at the rear of the CCTV catalogue) Videx and Access Control Technology Limited (ACT) are featured for the first time. The market-leading Videx range of video and audio door entry products includes phone, code, proximity, video and vandal resistant packaged solutions including the very popular V2200 and SP380 door entry solutions. Products from ACT featured in the new catalogue include digital keypads, card readers, door controllers, PC software, card media, and accessories.

New products in the Access Control catalogue from established Norbain suppliers include the Bewator Entro 5 access control system, Fermax Sailing Line and Loft range of video entry systems, Paxton’s new range of readers more detailed coverage of BPT solutions.

Dermot Grace is delighted to see the continuing growth of Norbain’s CCTV and Access Control portfolios: "Our customers return to us again and again for the breadth and depth of our product range and the extraordinary high levels of customer service and logistics we provide. With our large new distribution centre becoming fully operational in the Autumn we remain totally committed to continuing to expand our product range to meet the needs of our customers throughout the UK, Europe and rest of the world."
