Vista upgrade vandal resistant dome range

Jul 13 2006

Reading, UK

Vista have announced an upgrade to all their vandal resistant domes to include a 3 axis pan/tilt gimble mechanism.

This mechanism allows the camera to move horizontally and vertically, as well as freely swivelling to any angle required. This helps ensure that the best image is captured and makes the range very application flexible.

The complete range consists of ten high resolution models, all available in grey and black to help suit their environment. Models include mono, colour and day/night and are available in internal and external versions.

"We are constantly looking for ways to improve our cameras and stay at the top of our game," comments Andrew Pigram, Vista brand director. "You have to continually ensure you’re meeting market demands, and this is what we’ve done with our vandal resistant range."

This discreet range is suitable for use in a large range of areas, particularly where there is a threat of tampering or damage. Examples include prisons, schools, car parks, lifts and stairwells.
