Tyco Fire & Security has announced the release of the new American Dynamics line of Discover™ Mini-Domes, available through Norbain. The range provides a powerful and economical solution for deterring criminal activity and maintaining public safety. The new high performance, integrated cameras offer resilient housings at the price of a traditional, non vandal-resistant housing along with superior video quality. Three camera models are available:

• The 504 TVL Discover WDR mini-dome offers greater dynamic range, which significantly improves image quality in scenes consisting of both bright and dark areas.
• The 540 TVL Discover high resolution mini-dome combines vivid colours and powerful low-light performance, resulting in some of the clearest images available today.
• The 330 TVL Discover standard resolution mini-dome is a cost-effective, full-colour solution available with a 3.8-9.55mm vari-focal, auto iris lens.

The Discover series of integrated cameras offers superior image quality and video performance. High resolution and WDR models come equipped with a choice of three vari-focal, auto iris lenses, which provides the flexibility required by many applications.  The cameras’ advanced pivoting axis makes it easy to manoeuvre the camera to any angle.  In addition, the Discover series includes a drone - a non-functioning dome - that mimics the appearance of the Discover mini-dome for low cost crime deterrence.
