We’ve also got a number of great case studies to look at in this edition. As part of its ongoing commitment to improving infrastructure and in line with its franchise agreement, Virgin Trains has embarked upon an improvement programme to enhance both the quantity and quality of CCTV across the West Coast Main Line stations. The project adopted the Government guidelines and the British Transport Police Working Code of Practice, with the aim of enabling Virgin Trains to achieve the Secure Stations and Car Parks accreditation upon completion.
Retail park owner The Junction manages and develops a portfolio of 15 retail parks throughout the UK. The Junction brand is built on the strength of its relationships with its retailers with a commitment to providing a customer-focussed, service driven retail experience. This is no better demonstrated than in The Junction’s recent £1 million investment in state-of-the-art CCTV systems across the parks.
Finally, a CCTV system has been installed at the Hard Days Night Hotel, a new Beatles-themed hotel in Liverpool. Designed to blend in with the stunning architecture of the converted ‘Grade II’ listed building, it provides security for guests and staff alike, as well as keeping a close eye on the priceless Beatles memorabilia housed throughout the hotel.
